WE ARE OPEN — AND YOUR SAFETY IS OUR TOP PRIORITY.
We’re a fun-loving and tight-knit team — compassionate to the core. We embrace all that life on the front range has to offer. And when we’re not hitting the trails or the slopes, we’re probably geeking out over a new dental device — or having a lighthearted debate about which is better, expandable or waxed floss…
Our standard is first-quality care in every regard, impeccable workmanship, and an unwavering commitment to your comfort.
Dr. Patt grew up outside Detroit and received her undergraduate and dental degrees from Tufts University in Boston. After dental school, she completed her post-graduate training in Prosthodontics at New York Hospital Queens. She spent several years practicing and teaching in New York. In 2018 she and her family relocated to Colorado and started BOCO Dental & Prosthodontics.
Dr. Patt practices evidence-based dentistry which incorporates the most current research and data — and a patient’s unique needs and preferences into their treatment plan.
Drawn to the vibrant community, culture, and options for outdoor recreation, she loves calling Boulder home. Dr. Patt cherishes her career for the opportunity to help people improve their health and self-esteem.
BOCO Dental’s front-end team prides itself on communication and efficiency. They’ll help you maximize your benefits and minimize your fears before you walk through the door.
We believe that a visit to the dentist should be like catching up with old friends — welcoming, and relaxing.
When you call, someone familiar will either pick up or get back to you in a timely manner. We rely upon easy, unhurried conversation to discover your dental needs and expectations.
We spend hours each month refining skills so we can go above and beyond just fixing problems. While there’s a bias toward excellence, our hygienists are also known for making exams way more fun than you’d imagine!
There’s no pressure to hit quotas and maintain a high patient volume because no corporate monster is looking over our shoulders, keeping tabs on everything we do. We offer patient-centered care, which means you get a say.
Our primary responsibility is to ensure that you have a complete understanding of your dental health. We’ll discuss potential courses of action, and help you make the best decisions with your overall health in mind.
At BOCO Dental you’ll spend less time in the waiting room and more time in the chair — in an environment that is warm, caring, and humanistic. Every individual has different needs and we honor that.
Welcome to our office and our dental family! I am honored and proud to say that I have been the office manager for over 30 years. One of my favorite roles is to help patients manage and obtain the very best dentistry available. I love seeing our patients every day and am always excited whenever new ones are joining our family. When I am not at the office, as most of you already know, I am out on the range seeing Colorado through the ears of my Egyptian Arabian “Chang.” Keep smiling and giddy up!!
As patient care coordinator, I assist patients in making their appointments and with health insurance questions. Along with Tammy, our office manager, I am often the first person you talk to within our office. The best part of my job is welcoming patients when they come in for their appointments. I love getting caught up with patients and enjoy hearing what is new in their lives. It is wonderful to work for this practice. I love the office work ethic, attention to detail, and how much we genuinely care for patients and their overall health. When I’m not at the office, I enjoy spending time with family and my four-legged critters, taking long walks, and reading.
I’ve had the pleasure to work at BOCO Dental since 2018 as the office’s administrative assistant. I am proud to work for our dentists, and admire the support and care of our strong female staff. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband and friends in this beautiful and active community. My newest love is a French Bulldog named Esther, who could use dental treatment to control her snoring. I also have two high-schoolers who collectively teach me to work on patience and benevolence, which I will probably miraculously gain after they’ve left home.
As a Registered Dental Hygienist, it is my passion to help patients to restore their oral health back to a place that they feel self-empowered. Getting to know the patients in the office and sharing my knowledge is the most rewarding part of my career. Working with a great team to achieve this goal for our patients is very important. This is why I feel so fortunate to be part of such an amazing team at BOCO Dental & Prosthodontics. It is my goal to help you, as the patient, feel comfortable and safe and to make your experience positive. Each day I look forward to seeing the patients in the office.
When moving to Colorado, from the Hudson Valley in 1988 I was offered to work as a Dental Assistant. Which, I had worked until getting married and starting a family. Dentistry was a place that I felt at home and was at ease, helping me in making the decision to return to school and obtain my RDH license. I earned my Registered Dental Hygienist credentials from Concorde Career College in 2015. Going back to school to and achieving my license and degree while raising my children was very rewarding.
My outside passions are family and friends. I also enjoy our beautiful state, hiking, skiing, kayaking, and gardening. My favorite vacationing escape is the State of Hawaii.
Shannon has been a registered dental hygienist since 1998. She received her degree in central Florida, lived in Australia, and is now happy to reside near her birthplace in Boulder, Colorado. She is passionate about educating her patients on keeping their dental health in excellent health to support overall health. She loves spending time with her two daughters, Emily and Sophie & her dog, Russell.
I grew up in Firestone, Colorado, and attended the School of Dental Assisting in Broomfield, CO. It means a lot to me that I can make our patient’s dental appointment a little better (or maybe even something they look forward to) and ultimately, enable someone to get the dental care they need. If you would like to discuss your recent trips and/or travel aspirations, or the Broncos with me, feel free. It may just make your appointment more that much more enjoyable! I like working in Boulder and feel especially lucky to have found such a rewarding work environment.
Sandra has been in dentistry for 31 years. She received her Expanded Duties Certification at Colorado University. She loves going to work everyday, because she helps people smile.
When she isn’t working she loves spending time with her 2 dogs.
